1. Scope
These terms apply to all use of De Vastgoedmarkt (https://devastgoedmarkt.be), by visitors and by users with an account. By using the site or creating an account, you accept these terms.
2. The platform
De Vastgoedmarkt is an online platform on which private individuals and property professionals offer property for sale or to rent. De Vastgoedmarkt is not a party to the agreement between advertiser and applicant and does not act as an estate agent.
We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work without errors or interruptions.
3. Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your password secret. Report any misuse of your account immediately via the contact form.
A professional account is reserved for property professionals who are legally authorised to act as such, such as licensed estate agents and developers.
4. Listings
You may only list properties that you own or control, or for which you hold a mandate. Details, prices and photos must be accurate and up to date and must not infringe the rights of third parties.
Mandatory information such as the EPC rating must be stated correctly. Properties that have been sold or let must be marked as such or taken offline.
De Vastgoedmarkt may refuse, amend or remove listings that are misleading, incomplete, discriminatory or unlawful, or that breach these terms.
5. Prices and payment
A private listing stays online for 60 days. The applicable rate is shown at the time of publication; during a temporary promotion, private listings may be free. A boost (property at the top of the search results) is charged per chosen period. Payments are handled by our payment partner or by bank transfer after a payment request and are not refunded once the property has gone live.
Separate arrangements apply to professional accounts and advertising formats.
6. Enquiries and contact
An enquiry made via a property page is sent to the advertiser of that property. Only use other users' contact details for the property in question, not for advertising or any other purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The design, text and software of De Vastgoedmarkt are protected. Systematically copying listings or other content, including by automated means, is not permitted.
By uploading photos and text, you allow us to display them on the platform and in promotion of the listing for as long as the listing is online.
8. Liability
The information in listings comes from the advertisers. De Vastgoedmarkt does not check it systematically and is not liable for its content, nor for the outcome of contacts between users. Always check a property's details yourself before entering into any commitment.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district in which the operator has its registered office.
